Tournament Play
All teams compete in a state tournament held in October, usually within a two- to three-hour drive of Middletown. This tournament may require an overnight stay, as games are typically played throughout both Friday and Saturday.

High school teams also have the opportunity to compete in the National Tournament, which will require additional travel and overnight accommodations.

ECHS Strikers provides homeschool athletes with competitive soccer opportunities, team development, and fellowship while representing their families and communities across Indiana and beyond.

ECHS Strikers has five priorities.

  1. Glorify God
    • Above all else, we should honor God in all that we do. Our actions on the field serve as a testimony for our sovereign Creator. We strive to serve the Lord with all of our heart, soul and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5).
  2. Keep the Players Safe
    • Children are an heritage of the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We strive to ensure our players are safe and healthy in all that they do.
  3. Have Fun
    • Our players should have fun. It is difficult to succeed at any activity if you do not enjoy what you are doing. We want our players to learn to love soccer. We also strive for a strong community atmosphere that edifies the body of Christ. Our players should feel connected to each other and to the like-minded believers on other teams in our league.
  4. Play Well
    • It’s not about where you start – it’s about where you finish. Each player should grow in their soccer skills. When each individual grows, the team as a whole grows (Ephesians 4:16).
  5. Win
    • While it is not our first priority, of course we want to win!
